The Admin Dashboard in Ashta.ai is designed to help you navigate investor operations with ease and precision. Each tab in the dashboard—whether it’s Investors, Transactions, Deals, Leads, Documents, or Stakeholders—comes equipped with an Action Dropdown that gives Admin users quick access to key functions related to the selected entry.
In this article, we’ll walk you through how the Action Dropdown works across different tabs and what you can do with it.
The Action Dropdown is a dynamic menu that appears when you click
on an individual record (such as an investor, transaction, deal, etc.). It
allows Admin users to perform specific actions related to that record without
navigating away from the page or opening a new tab.
The available actions vary based on the tab you’re in and the type of record
you're interacting with. This ensures that each dropdown is contextual and
purpose-driven.
The Action Dropdown is available on most of the following tabs within the Admin Dashboard:
· Transactions
· Investors
· Deals
· Leads
· Documents
· Stakeholders
· Customization
· Broker Assessment
Each tab has its own set of relevant actions accessible via the dropdown next to each record. Let’s look at them in more detail.
On selecting a transaction record, Admins can:
· Edit Payment Date – Update the official payment date linked to the transaction.
· Retrigger Document Signature – Re-send signature request to the investor for pending documents.
· Retrigger KYC – Initiate the KYC process again for the associated investor.
· Retrigger Payment Details Email – Resend the payment instruction email to the investor.
· Associated KYC Report – View the most recent KYC report linked to the transaction.
· Previous KYC Reports – Access earlier KYC reports associated with the same investor.
· View/Update User Distributions – Check and modify distribution records for this investor.
This provides a fast way to trace transaction flows or make updates without switching tabs.
After selecting an investor, the Action Dropdown allows you to:
· Reset ID Verification – Clear existing identity check results and trigger a fresh verification.
· Add Quarterly Statement – Upload a quarterly report to the investor’s document records.
· Add Annual Statement – Attach the investor’s annual financial summary.
· Add Tax Statement – Upload tax documentation for the investor.
· View Statements – Access all statements issued to this investor.
These options make it easy to update compliance documents and communicate regularly with your investors.
The dropdown for individual deals allows you to:
· Go Live – Make the deal publicly available for investor commitments.
· Remove – Permanently delete the deal from the system.
· Notify Existing Investors – Send an update or message to all current investors in the deal.
This gives fund admins full control over deal lifecycle activities in one place.
Here the Admin user can view all the leads in single place—helpful for nurturing leads efficiently right from the dashboard.
Within Documents, the Action helps Admins:
· Download Individual Investor Documents – Save or review specific investor files locally.
· View Document History – See the upload and sharing timeline for each document.
This is especially useful during tax season or regulatory reporting periods.
The dropdown here lets Admins:
· Manage Group – Update group details or reset access credentials.
· Delete Group – Remove outdated or duplicate stakeholder entries.
This simplifies stakeholder access control and group management.
· Branding – Choose and preview your platform’s primary and secondary brand colors.
· Logos – Upload and preview combinations of header and footer logos.
· CRM – Select between HubSpot or Zoho integration for CRM support.
For Broker-specific workflows, the dropdown allows you to:
· Add Remarks or Internal Notes to individual records – Leave compliance or process-related notes for internal tracking.
These notes are useful for tracking compliance or advisory decisions related to EMD (Exempt Market Dealer) activities.
· Always make sure you're selecting the correct record before performing an action.
· Some actions (like removing a deal or resetting a verification) are irreversible—double-check before proceeding.
· Use filters and search to narrow down results and quickly find the record you want to act on.
· Actions are permission-sensitive—ensure your Admin role has the necessary rights enabled.
The Action Dropdown is your quick-access control panel within every module of the Admin Dashboard. It simplifies your workflow by bringing all the key functions into a single click, helping you stay productive, responsive, and in control—no matter what part of the investment operations you’re managing.
Whether you’re updating investor documents, closing deals, or reviewing transactions, the Action Dropdown helps you act instantly and with confidence.
